A Ukrainian drone strike on a Russian chemical plant, Perm Krai.

The drone strike extended beyond Moscow, with Ukrainian officials starting to target sites deep within Russian territory.

Ukraine has launched an attack on a Russian chemical plant 1,118 miles from the border, heightening concerns that World War III could be imminent.

The drone strike was directed at the Metafrax Chemicals plant in Perm Krai, a region in Russia located well beyond Moscow, last night (September 13).

Perm Krai Governor Dmitry Makhonin announced around 9:20 pm yesterday that the industrial site in the city of Gubakha had been struck.

"The facility is functioning as usual. Emergency services are present on-site. There is no danger to the safety of residents," the Russian official stated.

In 2023, a new Ammonia-Urea-Melamine (AUM) production facility began operations at the Metafrax Chemicals site. During the first eight months, the plant reportedly produced around 300,000 tons of ammonia. The company has since faced sanctions from both the UK and Ukraine.

Ukraine has previously targeted areas deep within Russian territory, frequently launching long-range drone attacks on industrial and military facilities.

On Friday, Ukraine’s defense intelligence service reportedly conducted a drone strike on a major oil refinery in Russia’s Bashkortostan region, located 930 miles from the Ukrainian border, according to intelligence reports.

News of the drone strike may increase anxiety among Americans about the possibility of an impending World War, as a recent YouGov poll revealed that 45 percent of Americans believe another World War is likely in the next few years.

Yesterday, President Donald Trump used Truth Social to release a 'letter to all NATO nations and the world', urging leaders to follow his directives to stop Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

He stated: "I am prepared to impose significant sanctions on Russia once all NATO nations have agreed to and begun doing the same, and when all NATO nations cease purchasing oil from Russia."

Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump

"As you're aware, NATO’s dedication to achieving victory has been less than complete, and the purchase of Russian oil by some members has been astonishing! This significantly undermines your negotiating stance and leverage over Russia."

"In any case, I'm ready to proceed whenever you are. Just let me know when. I believe that this, along with NATO collectively imposing 50% to 100% TARIFFS ON CHINA, which would be fully lifted after the conflict between Russia and Ukraine concludes, will greatly assist in ending this deadly yet absurd war."

The President's letter stated: "China has significant control over Russia, and these strong Tariffs will disrupt that control. This is not TRUMP’S WAR (it would never have started if I were President!), it is Biden’s and Zelenskyy’s WAR. I am here to help end it and save thousands of Russian and Ukrainian lives (7,118 lives lost just last week. CRAZY!).

"If NATO follows my advice, the WAR will end swiftly, and all those lives will be spared! Otherwise, you are merely wasting my time, along with the time, energy, and resources of the United States.

"Thank you for your attention to this matter! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."
