Billie Eilish Reveals Intimate Tattoo She Once Promised Fans Would Never See

The 'Bad Guy' star had previously stated she only wanted tattoos that 'barely anyone can see'
A close friend of Billie Eilish inadvertently exposed a highly personal tattoo that the singer had vowed would remain unseen by the public.
The ‘Bad Guy’ artist is known to have five tattoos, although she has suggested there are others that remain hidden.
"The only tattoos I want are those that barely anyone can see," she mentioned to Vanity Fair in 2017.
Upon turning 18, she got her first tattoo the day after her triumph at the Grammys in 2020, where she won five awards: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best Pop Vocal Album.
She made history by winning the four main categories, becoming the first female artist and the second person ever to achieve this feat, marking the occasion with a visit to the tattoo parlor.
“I did get a tattoo, but you won't ever see it,” she told the publication at the time.
Since then, her tattoo collection has expanded.
In 2021, she disclosed that she had added two more tattoos, including fairies on the side of her hand inspired by her childhood book Fairyopolis.
"They're like my little guardian angel fairies," she mentioned.
She also got what she referred to as a 'big boy' tattoo—a dragon extending across her waist, which she later displayed on Instagram.
However, it's the very first tattoo - the one she vowed to keep concealed - that has intrigued fans for years.
They caught a glimpse of the design thanks to a photo shared by Eilish's friend Annabel Zimmer, the daughter of film composer Hans Zimmer.
Annabel uploaded the picture while enjoying pleasant weather with Eilish, who appeared in the image smiling and tilting her head towards the sun.
She wore sunglasses and had her hair pulled back, with the tattoo just visible beneath the string of her bikini.
Although there are certainly clearer photos online, fans of the singer accepted that this was the best they could get.
Rolling Stone previously reported that the tattoo is designed in an 'ornate, gothic font'.
It's barely possible to discern the pointed letters of her name written in black across her skin.
In October 2023, she revealed her latest ink, an abstract design running down the center of her back.
