The Ghost Adventures host got hit with shocking news while shooting an episode

An upcoming Ghost Adventures episode will show the moment Aaron Goodwin learns about his wife’s plan to have him taken out.

Earlier this year, Ghost Adventures TV fans were blown away by some wild news that had nothing to do with ghosts.

Authorities confirmed they arrested Aaron Goodwin's wife on some serious charges.

Victoria Goodwin, who tied the knot with Aaron in 2022, was busted for allegedly trying to hire a hitman to take him out.

She got picked up in March and was charged with solicitation and conspiracy to commit murder, according to Clark County, Nevada records.

A few months later, it came out that Victoria had allegedly been chatting with a Florida prison inmate named Grant Amato.

Apparently, she was in a relationship with Amato, and in one of their message exchanges, she allegedly said, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”

At that point, when talking to TMZ, Goodwin admitted that the news totally surprised him, as he thought they were happily married.

Now, a new episode of Ghost Adventurers is going to show the moment Goodwin gets a call and finds out about his wife's arrest.

TMZ got their hands on some footage showing Aaron explaining how he snaps photos and videos in pitch-black darkness whenever he gets a message on his phone.

Chatting with his co-star Jay Wasley, Aaron said, “Bro, the cops are at my place.”

He then says he needs to head outside and takes a call.

Wasley then turns to the camera and says, “I have no idea what's going on. Aaron got a call or something and said the police are at his place. He mentioned he had to step outside.”

A voice-over then explains that the show won’t show any more footage but points out that this is when Aaron found out about the situation.

In June, when Victoria went to court, Aaron chatted with US Weekly about how tough the whole ordeal was.

He said, “For seven years, I thought I was in the most loving marriage with my best friend, someone I trusted completely and laughed with every day.

“Someone who made me feel settled—like I was her one and only. I was loyal to her and did everything I could to make her happy.

"I thought we had something really special, and so did everyone else.”

Victoria eventually took a plea deal, admitting to conspiracy to commit murder.

She got sentenced to between three and seven-and-a-half years in prison.
