The duo left with the prize money, but their actions upset some viewers

An Australian father-daughter team appeared ready to do anything to secure a cash prize, including kissing each other live on a radio show.

In 2020, Aussie breakfast hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson hosted a competition on their KIIS 106.5 show called ‘Boyfriend or Daddy’.

This controversial game featured a female guest brought into the studio with a male partner.

The concept was that the well-known hosts had to guess whether the pair were father and daughter or a couple.

If they guessed wrong, the guests would leave with a significant amount of money, specifically AU $1,000 (US $661).

In one episode, 26-year-old Stacey entered the radio studio with 49-year-old Nick.

The duo, who professed to be in a romantic relationship, shared a kiss on the lips as they arrived for the interview and soon faced a series of questions, according to the Standard.

“I have a thing for older guys,” Stacey said as she sat down. “My dad advised me to find a nice Greek boy, since I’m part Greek, so I did.

“They weren’t too thrilled initially, but he’s warmed up. They even go fishing and do other activities together now.”

Intent on exposing the truth, Henderson asked Stacey and Nick a series of awkward questions, including inquiries about their bedtime routines.

“With your boyfriend, what is your favorite sexual position in the bedroom?” she inquired.

If the host expected the aspiring couple to falter at the awkward question, she was wrong.

Stacey confidently shared with listeners that she preferred to ‘be on top’, explaining: "I’m a bit smaller than him, so I don’t like to feel smothered, so being on top works best for us.”

Nick was then questioned if his supposed girlfriend enjoyed oral sex, to which he responded: “It took some time for me to come around to it, both giving and receiving.”

Still uncertain if Stacey and Nick were being truthful, Henderson decided to use her ace in the hole.

“There's only one way to settle this. Would you two be willing to give each other a small kiss on the lips? Is this your boyfriend or your dad? Feel free to kiss as much as you want,” the radio host suggested.

Instead of a simple peck, the father-daughter duo engaged in a full make-out session, leaving host Sandilands stunned.

“It must be a boyfriend,” he exclaimed.

"It can't be the father; no one kisses their father like that... unless you live in the mountains with no neighbors.”

However, they were proven wrong when Stacey revealed that Nick was not her boyfriend but her actual father.

“The things we do for money – this is actually my father!" Stacey disclosed.

She added: "My boyfriend’s going to be mortified."

Listeners reportedly felt 'disgusted' by the fake romance, with one commenting: "This is so, so wrong on so many levels," according to The Mirror.

"Nope, no amount of money is worth tarnishing the pure innocent love between father and daughter in my eyes," another added. "This can never be undone."

The pair ended up winning AU $1,000, but at what cost?
