Fans have long believed the two are in a feud
Francia Raisa has addressed the rumors, as some speculated about a rift with Selena Gomez after she missed her wedding.
In 2017 Gomez required a kidney transplant due to Lupus, an autoimmune disease.
Her serious health issues were a shock to many fans, but she revealed that her friend and actress Raisa was a willing and suitable donor.
She expressed gratitude to Raisa in a detailed Instagram post, also thanking her fans, friends, and doctors.
When news broke of Gomez marrying Benny Blanco, many fans expected Raisa to attend, but her name was absent from the confirmed guest lists published online.
However, before the wedding, Raisa denied any feud with Gomez and shared her perspective on the situation.

In an interview recorded at a bookstore event, she wished Gomez well for the future while speaking in Spanish.
She stated (translated): “I know she's getting married, and I'm very happy for her. And look...she has a life, and she is already a billionaire, and I am grateful that I could do that for her.”
She also addressed a common misconception about organ donation. When asked what advice she would give to someone considering donating, she stressed that the focus should be on saving a life rather than forming a special connection with the recipient.
She elaborated: “Look, from the start, the doctors told me it's a donation.
“If you are going to donate a dollar to St. Jude or somewhere else, you're not going to call to ask, ‘Hey, what are you doing with my dollar?’
“It’s a donation, and it’s something nice that I was able to do. I am grateful that I am alive and can say that I have saved a life.”

This isn’t the first time rumors of a feud have circulated.
In 2022, observant fans speculated that the two were at odds when Gomez stated that her only friend in the industry was Taylor Swift.
In a now-deleted post, Raisa wrote 'interesting', to which Gomez responded, 'Sorry didn’t mention everyone I know'.
However, the following year, Gomez once again dismissed the idea of a feud and expressed that she would always be indebted to Raisa.
She said: “I will never, ever, ever be more in debt to a person than Francia. The idea of someone not even second-guessing to be a donor was unbelievably overwhelming.”
