Jimmy Fallon, along with several others, has expressed support for Jimmy Kimmel.
Jimmy Fallon has commented on the sudden removal of Jimmy Kimmel's show from the air.
Kimmel caused controversy earlier this week due to his comments about the Republicans and Charlie Kirk, who was killed at the age of 31 on September 10.
ABC decided to remove Jimmy Kimmel Live from its lineup — a decision that President Trump praised the network for.
"Exciting News for America: The low-rated Jimmy Kimmel Show has been CANCELLED," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
"Kudos to ABC for finally having the bravery to make the necessary decision. Kimmel has NO talent and even worse ratings than Colbert, if you can believe it. Now, only Jimmy and Seth, two complete failures, remain on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are terrible too. Go for it, NBC!!!"
Numerous celebrities have since commented on the issue, including Ben Stiller, who remarked: "This isn't right."
Now, fellow TV host Jimmy Fallon (who was mentioned in Trump's critical social media post) has also addressed the matter.
The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon stated: "To be honest with you all, I don’t know what’s going on — no one does.
"But I do know Jimmy Kimmel, and he is a decent, funny, and loving guy. And I hope he comes back."
His monologue also had a humorous twist, with an announcer censoring several of the punchlines to his jokes about Trump.
