The former VP made the admission on stage in Los Angeles

Ex-Vice President Kamala Harris reportedly received cheers from fans after criticizing the Trump administration with a significant four-word remark during the American segment of her book tour. This admission follows her disclosure of what the President supposedly said to her in a 'private' phone call.

The 60-year-old is currently touring the United States to promote her new political memoir, 107 Days — a book detailing her unsuccessful 2024 Presidential campaign that followed after President Joe Biden stepped down from the race for the sake of ‘defense of democracy’.

Described by Simon & Schuster CEO Jonathan Karp as one of the bestselling memoirs of the 2020s, 107 Days provides an analysis of Harris’s failed campaign against the Republican ticket, the current US President, Donald Trump.

Promotion for the autobiography has already produced some noteworthy quotes, including an admission that losing to the father-of-five was ‘as painful as the death of her mother’ and that she considered her political opponent to be a ‘con man’.

Currently, the Democrat is going viral for criticizing the Trump administration, calling them ‘m***erf***ers’

While speaking at the Day of Unreasonable Conversation summit in Los Angeles on Monday (October 6), Harris stated: “We are living history right now, and you all storytellers are living this. You’re not passive observers, you know that.

“You’re living it, and I would ask you that all the emotions that we are feeling — give those emotions, give that experience to those people that you are writing about and writing for. It gets back to my point about helping people just put a label on it, even if it doesn’t change the circumstance.”

She continued to tell the audience at The Getty Center: “Because there is so much about this moment that is trying to make people feel like they’ve lost their minds, when in fact, these m***erf***ers are crazy!”

It’s reported that supporters of the politician began cheering and clapping, making her laugh.

“I call this ‘The Freedom Tour,'” she added once the crowd had settled down.

The event, co-chaired by (500) Days of Summer actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, screenwriter Greg Berlanti, and Simpson Street producing partners Kerry Washington and Pilar Savone, also featured Harris discussing Election Night.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the California native shared that she couldn’t ‘articulate anything’ after conceding to Trump.

“I kept saying over and over again, ‘My God, my God.’ I had never felt that level of pain and grief except when my mother died, and I was grieving for the country. I knew what was going to happen,” she admitted.

Harris also took the chance to address current censorship concerns in Hollywood after Jimmy Kimmel’s long-running show was temporarily pulled from the air after he commented on the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

“I don’t envy some of the people here who are in a situation where they are subtly, or perhaps not so subtly, being signaled that now is not the time to speak a certain truth with a certain level of candor,” she acknowledged.

“Everyone must make that decision for themselves, right? But there will always be risks associated with speaking the truth.”

Harris’ appearance at the Day of Unreasonable Conversation follows her revelation in 107 Days about a surprising comment Trump made to her in private.

The event occurred after the second assassination attempt on the President’s life, for which Ryan Wesley Routh was found guilty on September 23, despite pleading not guilty. The former VP stated that during a phone call with Trump after the September 2024 incident, he promised to be ‘nicer’ to her.

He reportedly said: "How do I say bad things about you now? I'm going to tone it down. I will. You're going to see.”

The businessman is also said to have mentioned that his daughter, Ivanka Trump, is a ‘big fan’ of hers.

Kamala Harris’ 107 Days is available for purchase now.
