Pastor Joshua Mhlakela Predicts the World Will End This Week

A man who claims to have 'seen Jesus' has shared his reasons for believing the world will end soon.

The notion that the end is near is something we've frequently heard over the years, yet it hasn't materialized, has it?

There have been many instances when the world was predicted to end, such as the end of the Mayan calendar in 2012 and in 2020, but neither came to pass.

Now, five years after the last bold prediction, a man claiming to have 'seen Jesus' has explained why he believes the world might actually end tomorrow, Tuesday, September 23.

Joshua Mhlakela, from South Africa, stated that he is certain God will come to ‘rescue the Christians out of the world’ on September 23 and 24, 2025, during an appearance on the CENTTWINZ TV YouTube channel in a video uploaded earlier this year.

The pastor asserts that God will come to 'save the Christians from the world'.

This coincides with Rosh Hashanah, also known as the Feast of Trumpets, which is a sacred day marking the start of the Jewish new year.

The pastor stated that this week, God's judgment would render the world 'unrecognizable' and claimed a rupture would happen with 'such power' that it would cause the Earth to 'shake'.

Interpret that as you wish.

"The rapture is upon us, whether you are ready or not," he said during the interview.

"I saw Jesus seated on his throne, and I could hear him very clearly saying, 'I am coming soon.'"

The New York Post reports that some individuals are even resigning from their jobs in anticipation of the 'end of the world' this week.

As you might anticipate, some individuals have challenged the assertions made by Mhlakela.

"To everyone backing him: how can you believe a man who lacks evidence of his 'encounter' with Jesus Christ? For all we know, he could be fabricating it for attention," one person wrote on Reddit.

Meanwhile, comedian Kevin Fredericks inquired in an Instagram Reel: "In which time zone is it occurring? Because what I was taught about the rapture is that no one knows the day or the hour…

“There are 24 time zones on Earth, 38 if you count those with half-hour differences. How can anyone know?"

The exact time this supposed rapture is predicted to occur remains unknown.
