The UK punk band Bob Vylan had to cancel their recent show due to remarks regarding Charlie Kirk's assassination being described as 'disrespectful'.
Earlier this year, frontman Bobby Vylan gained attention for leading the crowd at Glastonbury Festival in the UK with chants of 'free, free Palestine' followed by 'death, death to the IDF [Israel Defence Forces]'.
The comments are currently under criminal investigation by Avon and Somerset Police.
Recently, widely circulated footage online seems to show Vylan making remarks about Kirk during a performance at Amsterdam's Club Paradiso on Saturday (September 13).
The 31-year-old was shot dead while speaking at an event organized by his nonprofit, Turning Point USA, on Wednesday (September 10) at Utah Valley University.
During the performance, Vylan addressed the audience: "I want to dedicate this next one to a truly awful person. The pronouns was/were. Because if you talk rubbish, you'll get hit. Rest in peace Charlie Kirk, you terrible person."
After videos of the incident went viral, the frontman responded on Twitter.
"At no time during yesterday's show was Charlie Kirk's death celebrated," he stated in a recorded video. "I did call him a terrible person. That part is true. But his death was not celebrated at any point."
"If it was, go find me a quote... that shows we were celebrating his death. You won't find it, because it didn't happen."
The musician ended the video by advising people on the internet to 'Calm down'.
The Tilburg venue 013 has since canceled Bob Vylan's upcoming tour date in the Netherlands, stating the recent comments went 'too far'.
"The scheduled performance by the British rap-punk band Bob Vylan on Tuesday, September 16th, at Poppodium 013 in Tilburg has been called off," a translated statement announced.
"The cancellation is due to the controversial remarks the artist made last night during a show at Paradiso in Amsterdam."
"Despite the controversy that followed their Glastonbury performance, 013 had decided to allow Bob Vylan to perform in Tilburg."

The statement noted: "We recognize that these remarks were made within the framework of punk and activism, and that media coverage can sometimes lack the full context. However, we believe these recent statements have crossed a line."
"They are now beyond what we can support with a platform."
UNILAD has contacted the band's representatives for a response.
Authorities sought assistance in identifying Kirk's shooter after a suspect was spotted on a rooftop at the college campus.
The FBI has since confirmed the arrest of a suspect identified as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.
In a Monday (September 15) update, FBI Director Kash Patel revealed a troubling note in which Robinson expressed intentions to 'take out' Kirk.
"The note was written before the shooting and found in the suspect's home," Patel told Fox News.
