A resurfaced track by American singer d4vd has drawn attention after fans noticed it repeatedly mentions the same name as a teenager recently discovered deceased in his abandoned Tesla.
The song, which leaked online in late 2023 under the file name 'Celeste_Demo unfin', seems to be dedicated to someone named Celeste. This name matches that of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose dismembered body was found last week in d4vd’s impounded car at a tow yard in Hollywood.
Although now removed from SoundCloud, where it allegedly leaked, TMZ has reported that d4vd sings: "Oh, Celeste / The girl with my name tattooed on her chest / Smell her on my clothes like cigarettes / I hear her voice each time I take a breath / I'm obsessed."
The song goes on with another mention of the name, as he sings: "Oh, Celeste / Worried you'll only love me without clothes / Yet you look incredibly stunning in that dress / Missing you so deeply makes me feel down / But I digress, because."
Although there is no confirmation that the track pertains to Celeste Rivas, the lyrics and the timing of its online release have heightened public interest in the case.
Celeste’s mother informed reporters that her daughter disappeared in April 2024 and was involved with a boyfriend named David at the time. Given that d4vd’s real name is David, speculation has arisen about whether they were connected before her disappearance.
Authorities have yet to establish a definitive link, but several details have been noted. A photograph recently emerged showing the singer in Lake Elsinore, near where Rivas lived with her family before she went missing. Another image circulating online seems to show d4vd with a girl resembling Celeste, though officials have not confirmed her identity.
Further intrigue comes from tattoos. Police, along with Celeste’s mother, confirmed that she had a distinctive “shhh…” tattoo on her right index finger. d4vd also has the same design inked on the same finger, a detail which has fueled ongoing speculation.
The discovery of Rivas’s body inside the star’s car has initiated a homicide investigation that remains active. At the time, a spokesperson for d4vd issued a statement, stating he 'has been informed about what’s happened, and although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities'.

The police have conducted a search of d4vd’s residence for blood traces and other evidence, but no formal charges have been filed yet.
d4vd canceled a planned performance in Seattle earlier this week and is thought to have returned to Los Angeles as the case progresses.
Although no direct link between the resurfaced song and Rivas’s death has been officially confirmed, the return of the lyrics, along with the tragic discovery, has raised more questions about the singer and his possible connections to the victim.
