Tom Holland is now expected to take a break from filming
Actor Tom Holland was hospitalized after sustaining an injury during a stunt for the upcoming Spider-Man movie.
Tom Holland is currently working on the fourth installment of his Spider-Man series, Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Earlier this year, set photos and scenes were shared on social media, revealing that some scenes were filmed in the UK.
Holland reportedly injured his head in a fall and was treated for a concussion on September 19 while filming at Leavesden Studios in Watford, UK.
Filming for the day was reportedly halted following the incident.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service spoke to the Sun regarding the incident.
They stated: “We were called at 10:30 am on Friday to assist a patient who had been injured at Leavesden Studios in Watford.
“An ambulance was dispatched to the location, and the patient was taken to the hospital for further treatment.”

Holland’s comedian father, Dominic, discussed the injury at a charity dinner, mentioning that his son would be taking a break from filming 'for a while'.
Holland attended the dinner with his fiancée Zendaya, but reportedly left early due to feeling unwell.
It remains uncertain how the film's production will proceed without Holland or if this will delay the movie's release date, set for July 2026.
Before filming began, Holland shared his enthusiasm for shooting the next installment, especially since there were rumors that Spider-Man: No Way Home might have been his last superhero role as the web-slinging wall-crawler.
Speaking to Complex, he remarked: “It’s been a really fun process developing the movie."

"This is the first time I've been involved in that part of the process, and it's certainly a stressful experience. But I believe that now we've reached the shooting stage, we're capturing pure gold."
"It feels like a fresh start; it doesn't seem like we're making the fourth movie," he added. "We're creating the first film of the next chapter," he continued. "It's a rebirth. It's an entirely new endeavor."
Holland also mentioned that he had secretly researched what fans wanted for the next movie by observing their reactions to previous films to understand their desires for the latest Spider-Man installment.
The cast of Brand New Day features Holland returning alongside Jacob Batalon and Zendaya, with new additions such as Stranger Things star Sadie Sink.
