Is 'Opalite' lyrically targeting Kayla Nicole?
Kayla Nicole seems to have responded strongly after the release of Taylor Swift's album The Life of a Showgirl, which reportedly includes a 'diss track' directed at her.
For context, the YouTuber was in a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce from 2017 to 2022, who is now engaged to music superstar Swift.
One of the country singer's latest songs, 'Opalite', contains lyrics that could easily be interpreted as aimed at Nicole.
"You couldn't understand it, why you felt alone/You were in it for real, she was in her phone/And you were just a pose," Swift sings in one part of the song.
Many Swifties naturally believe these lines are a jab at Nicole, with one commenting: "The Kayla Nicole shade in 'Opalite'?!?!"
Another remarked: "She disses Kayla Nicole in 'Opalite'."
While a third noted: "The Kayla Nicole shade surprised me, I know Taylor is tired of her always talking about him."

Just hours after The Life of a Showgirl was released on Friday (October 3), Nicole shared a reel of America's Next Top Model star Eva Marcille on Instagram Stories.
In the clip, Tyra Banks asks Marcille: "How do you compare yourself to the other girls out there?"
The model-turned-podcaster replies: "I don't compare myself to other girls. I'm Eva. I'm no comparison to anyone else."
Meanwhile, the 33-year-old also posted photos from a dinner she attended that same night, hosted by Hollywood Confidential in LA.
She captioned them: "What an honor to share a table with some of the most iconic 'girlfriends' of all time."
"Women whose art has been a mirror and a reminder of what's possible at every stage of my womanhood. Thank you @hollywoodconfidential for creating space to celebrate visibility, sisterhood, and storytelling in its truest form."
"And a very special thank you to the honoree of the evening, @marabrockakil.
Your gift has given generations a language and a lens."
Later, she added a bold meme to her Instagram Stories that read 'And when God give you ball, BALL'.

Since Kelce and Swift started their relationship, Nicole has faced accusations of mentioning him during interviews.
The podcaster has responded to those telling her to 'move on' from their breakup, saying: "Life gave me lemons and I turned them into a lemon martini, which seems to bother some people."
