Over the past year, Trump has 'worked' at a McDonald's and shared a takeout meal with Musk, but his order is now drawing attention

A close associate of President Donald Trump has unveiled a peculiar McDonald's order favored by the POTUS, and frankly, it might turn your stomach.

In a recent appearance on a local government podcast, Joe Gruters—a long-time Trump supporter—shared details of a late-night fast food habit that’s hard to forget.

Gruters, who leads the Republican National Committee in Florida, described Trump’s preferred meal from the Golden Arches as nothing less than 'unique'.

When asked by the hosts to recount one of the funniest moments from life on the campaign trail, he was quick to respond.

“The quantity, and what the president eats,” he began.

“He had hot fries waiting for him from McDonald’s,” Gruters said. “Then he had a filet-o-fish, a quarter pounder, and a big mac, and I think he combined two of them.”

Yes, you read that correctly, the 79-year-old reportedly combines two burgers to create his own fast food Frankenstein.

Although Gruters didn't specify which burgers were combined to create the beast, let's be honest, we're all secretly hoping the filet-o-fish remains untouched, as just the thought of it is enough to make a dietitian despair.

Even more surprising, Gruters mentioned that the president swapped his usual Diet Coke for an orange fizzy drink. While you might think it was Fanta, McDonald’s also offers Hi-C Orange Lavaburst, so which one tempted him away from his regular choice remains unknown.

Gruters confessed the calorie overload left him stunned, as he remarked: “I’m wondering to myself, how does someone of his age manage to eat all this McDonald’s regularly?”

He also mentioned feeling 'sick as a dog' after eating just two burgers himself.

According to McDonald’s own nutritional information, Trump’s reported order amounts to approximately 2,372 calories, already exceeding the daily recommended limit for men his age.

"Uh, but yeah, he loves the McDonald’s brand. McDonald’s should be paying that guy," Gruters joked. "No kidding."

Almost a year ago, Trump swapped rally speeches for burger flipping when he visited a McDonald's branch during his presidential campaign.

The Republican was seen handing out orders and preparing food in posts shared on TikTok, though some viewers were skeptical of the performance.

Trump's website stated that he 'cooked food, bagged fries [and] worked the drive-through', but ABC News reported that the restaurant was closed to the public during his visit.

And of course, there was the well-known McDonald's meal Trump enjoyed on a private jet with his former 'first buddy' Elon Musk, his health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr, and his eldest son Donald Trump Jr, back in November.

So, Gruters does have a point. Ronald, if you're reading this, perhaps consider creating a plush toy for the POTUS to include in happy meals as a gesture.
