D4vd Was Touring When the Body Was Found
A Freedom of Information Request disclosed that police had visited D4vd’s Los Angeles rental mansion two months before a decomposing body was discovered in a Tesla owned by the singer.
Police were notified about a vehicle in a Hollywood tow yard in Los Angeles emitting a foul odor last month.
Further investigation led police to the grim discovery of a decomposing body in the trunk of the car.
Authorities later confirmed that the vehicle was registered to the singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke.
His representative previously stated that the singer 'has been informed about the situation, and although he remains on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities'.

Police have now identified the body as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who was reported missing in April 2024 at the age of 13.
The investigation into Rivas' death is still ongoing, with no arrests made so far.
Between February 2024 and September 2025, D4vd's manager, John Marshall, reportedly rented a $4.7 million Hollywood home with four bedrooms and four bathrooms for the musician.
Information obtained by the US Sun through a FOI request showed a neighbor called 911 on July 20 at 4:38 am for a 'public nuisance'.
However, police did not reach the Los Angeles residence until 8:57 am, with an LAPD spokesperson confirming the call was due to loud music.
By the time police arrived, the issue had been resolved.
A former neighbor of D4vd told the US Sun that he frequently saw the singer and Rivas together.

"I didn’t know he was a singer, but I always recognized his Tesla because it was parked outside," he mentioned.
"We’d say 'hi' to each other when I was in my car, usually when they were heading to the store or somewhere else."
The former neighbor noted: "Whenever I tried to chat with them, they weren’t very talkative. They liked to keep to themselves."
Right now, it’s still unclear when Rivas passed away and what caused her death. However, the police have suggested that they believe the teenager had been deceased for quite some time.
"At this moment, the LAPD doesn’t have a crime classification from the coroner regarding the mode or manner of death," the LAPD stated.
"So, we currently have no suspect information."
