Aisha confessed to doing it as well after criticizing Pattison by calling the act ‘gammy’.

Pattison then remarked, "I'm really sorry. It makes them happy, you know," before opening her mouth wide to allow the dog to lick her again.

As you might expect, even though Pattison had many admirers, he didn’t have many supporters, even among those who are very fond of their own dogs.
